You can submit your registration starting on January 6th. To register, send your name, intended army, and club affiliation (if any) to the Tournament Organizer. If you are interested in reserving a room at the venue, please include that in your registration email. The registration fee is payable via paypal to the same address(to@vanguardgt.org).
All registrations will be held until Saturday, January 11th. If there are fewer than 32 registrations, then they will all be processed in the order they were received. If there are more than 32 registrations, then last year’s recipient of the Vanguard Award will be processed first and the other 31 registrations will be drawn at random and processed in the order they are drawn. Any remaining registrations will be placed on the wait list in the order they are drawn. Anyone requesting a room will be contacted in the order their registrations are drawn until all the rooms are booked.
The registration fee for the 2025 Vanguard GT is $50. We will accept registrations up until the week before the event, on April 18th, when lists are due. The registration fee is payable via paypal to the same address as registration (to@vanguardgt.org).
This registration fee covers the tournament, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and dinner/reception Saturday night.
When we are full, we will run a wait list for additional interested people. In the event of a drop, we will contact the people on the wait list in order. People on the wait list will have 48 hours to respond and submit payment before we move on to the next person on the wait list.
If you are already registered and know you will have to drop, please let us know ASAP. We can only offer refunds up until registration closes the week before the event.
On-site Accommodations
We would like to invite all participants to stay with us at the venue. This gives everyone the most time to socialize with the other participants. Breakfast will also be included on Saturday and Sunday mornings for everyone staying at the venue.
There are five guest rooms which can be reserved for the weekend. Four of them contain a Queen bed and one of them contains two Doubles beds. We encourage you to allow additional guests to stay in your room, there is space for one or more air mattresses on the floor of each room, and there is a $10 fee for each additional guest to cover their breakfast.
In order to accommodate as many people as possible, we will hold requests for the 2 Double bed room for 24 hours and give preference to larger groups. Minimum groups of 3 required, groups of 4 or more preferred. 2 air mattresses provided.
There is also space for several people to set up tents and camp for the weekend. The $10 camping fee includes both breakfast and access to showers.
While everyone is welcome to stay, we also realize that there might not be enough space for everyone, or you might want a little more privacy, or you might want to only spend one night, or you might want to get to sleep at an early hour. We expect that participants staying at the venue might want to stay up quite late, and we would like to encourage late night socializing. If staying at the venue doesn’t sound right for you, you are of course welcome to find accommodations near by. Feel free to contact the Tournament Organizer for hotel recommendations.
All prices are for the entire weekend, and include breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
