Pictures and Feedback

I’d like to thank everyone who came out and made the event a great success, and all of our sponsors for helping us out.

I’d also like to give special thanks to everyone who helped clean up both the event space and the rooms.  Everyone left the venue very tidy, leaving an easy amount of final cleanup for us to do.  It makes it very easy to get motivated for next year.

I’d like to ask everyone who attended to please fill out this brief feedback survey to help us improve the event for next year.

Pictures from the event are now available on dropbox.

Anyone interested in receiving their store credit from Mierce needs to make sure the TO has their email address.

There will be some additional wrap-up information posted in the next couple of weeks, and in the next few months we will announce next year’s date.

Parking Info

First, how to find the right driveway. There is no house number on our driveway. It is across the street on our mailbox and hard to see. The easiest way to spot our driveway is that there is an orange traffic cone on the left just before it, and there will be a ‘VGT’ logo sign.  Also, if it’s after dark, we’re the only house with a gas lamp by the road.

Now, where to park. See the below image.

We can fit 6 cars in the garage, and folks who rented rooms have first dibs on those.  After that, we start filling up the outdoor parking.

Zone A: There are spaces for 3 cars just to the right as you get to the end of the driveway. Fill those up first.

Zone B: If there are already 3 cars in A, drive down to the end of the garage and turn around. Drive back towards zone A, and then reverse at an angle towards the wall opposite zone A and the garage. Just fill in like angled parking spaces so we can fit plenty of cars but still have enough space for everyone to pull out when they leave.

Zone C: We usually use this as overflow parking, but this will be camping space this weekend.

After parking, follow the green arrows to either the mud room or front door.

Important safety tip: When you turn off of route 3, you are likely to lose phone signal. Take appropriate precautions to avoid getting lost in the last 3 miles. (familiarize yourself with the last couple of turns, etc.)
